Account & Data Deletion
Last updated 2026-09-26
This page explains how to ask us to delete your OrderGrid account or the data it holds. It applies to the OrderGrid app, published on Google Play by OOHA PTY LTD, and to the rest of the OrderGrid platform.
How to request deletion
Email support@ordergrid.com.au. If you have an OrderGrid account, write from the email address linked to it, include your venue or business name, and tell us whether you want your whole account deleted or just particular data.
You do not need an OrderGrid account to ask. If a venue that uses OrderGrid has connected its Google Business Profile, Facebook Page or Instagram account, and you left a review, a comment or a message there, tell us which venue, which platform, and the name you used there, and we will delete what we hold about you.
We will confirm your identity, then action the request. You will hear back from us within 7 days of sending your request.
What we delete
When your account is deleted, we delete the staff profiles, clock-in photos, and customer records held for your venue, and, if the venue connected a Google Business Profile, Facebook Page or Instagram account, everything we hold from it.
Data from Google, Facebook and Instagram
Google: if a venue connected its Google Business Profile, we hold what we read from it (the profile, its reviews and replies, and its posts) for 30 days at most in any case. If the profile was connected, then when the venue disconnects or asks us, we delete all of it, along with the connection. If an owner connected a Google Business Profile, they can also remove OrderGrid's access from their Google Account settings.
Facebook and Instagram, which are run by Meta: if a venue connected its Facebook Page or Instagram account, we hold the Page and account details, the posts made through OrderGrid, and the comments and messages people sent, with the name and picture Meta shows for each person. If the Page or account was connected, then when the venue disconnects, removes OrderGrid in its Facebook settings or asks us, or when Meta asks us, we delete all of it within 30 days. If you commented on or messaged a Page or Instagram account that a venue connected to OrderGrid, email us as above and we will delete what we hold about you within 30 days.
What we keep, and for how long
Australian tax law requires us to keep some records even after an account is deleted: order and payment records are retained for the statutory retention period (5 to 7 years under Australian law), and are deleted after that period ends. If a venue connected its Uber Eats store, the orders that came in from it are order records like any other.
Deleting clock-in selfies only
You do not have to delete your account to have clock-in selfies removed. Ask us using the same steps above and we will delete them on request.
